This photo was taken on the Contoocook River in New Hampshire on the north side of the town of Peterborough. My cousin and I were out for a paddle in her canoe, on what you can see from the photo was just the perfect day for it. Having lived in New England when I was a child, I have crossed rivers on covered bridges before, but this was my first opportunity to see one from the water. I didn’t risk the possibility of getting my Nikon wet on the river, so this photo was done with the camera on my phone. I cropped this photo to make it a panorama. More of the sky and water reflections are visible on the original “landscape” proportioned photo, however this version puts more emphasis on the actual bridge, but still gives you the reflection in the water.
