I walked by the window of my husband’s woodworking shop one night and saw this beautiful glowing piece of machinery. I went in to check it out, and discovered it was a saw blade with a guard and guide that had a light in it. I took several photos, and this is the one I liked the best. I flipped it 180 degrees when I framed it, because I liked the more abstract look I got when I did that. The name I came up with is a bit of a joke, from a former Dental Hygienist (me). The dental night guard is a mouth guard for people who grind their teeth while sleeping. This is a blade guard viewed at night.
