I am not a morning person by nature, so this phenomenon of the morning sun casting a reflection of the Venetian blinds in my studio, is probably a rather common occurrence, but not one I had noticed before. . . One morning when I was up early enough to see it, I was really intrigued with the reflection backed by the vivid colors in a photograph I call “Amusement Park Abstract”. I grabbed my camera, and photographed it from a couple of different angles. I really liked the results, but never got around to printing it. When the theme “Celebrate Color and Light” came along, it was one of the first ones I thought to submit!
