I went to Cartersville, Virginia, in Cumberland County on a guided photo jaunt to an old historic high school. A side trip to the speakeasy was an added bonus. It was right near the road, but Mother Nature has been busy reclaiming the land, keeping it a secret place that only those in the know can find. If I remember correctly, we had to enter the building through the back door. This photo was digitally manipulated to make it look more like a drawing. It seemed like a good way to accentuate the vines growing on it.

This is actually a swipe photo of my backyard taken in autumn. I turned it upside down, but it could be hung any way you want. The white area is actually where the sky was. I played with the colors on the computer, and I had to take many dust spots out of it. The moral of the story there is always make sure your lens is clean, especially if shooting towards the sun like I did with this!
