Tubac is a lovely village south of Tucson, just off of I-19 (which is the only section of interstate highway in our country where the distance is marked in kilometers instead of miles). The two or three blocks that comprise “Downtown Tubac” are mostly populated with art studios and galleries. There had been some rain recently, so the desert and mountains had some green showing, and a tropical storm in Mexico brought in some clouds to add more interest to the panorama.
