When my son showed up one day, in his recently repaired and newly polished Mazda Miata, I took my camera out to document the occasion. I am intrigued by the patterns produced by the prisms in the Fresnel lenses used for the headlights and taillights by auto manufacturers, so I showcased his taillight in this photograph. The original photograph had more of the car showing, but I prefer this cropped down version. I had a hard time deciding if I wanted to hang it horizontally or vertically, and am still not 100% sure I made the right decision! It is abstract enough that I could get away with turning it 90º.
